This week, students worked on their second real webpage. They created a "Top Ten" page on the topic of their choosing. This webpage consisted of their knowledge of tables and images. On Tuesday, as part of my evaluation, I taught the class my second lesson. The lesson consisted of font families and table borders. This lesson went better than the first one and the class seemed to catch on to it faster. Wednesday the class turned in their Top Ten pages and gave each other feedback via Google Forms. The class began learning Photoshop on Thursday and will probably continue through part of next week.
My favorite quote from this website comes from Pocahontas.
She once said, "How high does a sycamore grow? If you cut it down, then you'll never know". I selected this quote because it can be related to things other than a sycamore tree. I relate it to things to learn. You never know how much you can learn, if you stop trying.
