The above photo gallery has photos (both in code and in running form) of the two codes I wanted to try to test so that I could hopefully incorporate them into the city's website. | This week, I worked on creating a link tooltip that I thought would make a nice suggestion for something that could be added to the city's website. I am not one hundred percent sure the whole code will transfer over through their system though due to it needing 3 different documents. I also created an image selector which I thought could be a nice touch in case the slideshow idea is a bust or in case this would work nicer than a slideshow. As I was going through the website's pages, I noticed some edits had been made. I had to go through my list of things that needed to be fixed in order to figure out what still needed to be done. I also began editing parts of the website. I fixed a few 404 errors on some of the links and replaced them with the appropriate files. I also began searching for an event that had been made as some sort of placement event. It is titled as "Please delete," however, no one knows who added it or what section it is in so finding it is going to be like a needle in a haystack. The biggest problem teenagers face is procrastination. I am a big sufferer when it comes to procrastination. I never have the energy to do anything. The only thing that helps me overcome it in the end, is my competitiveness. I was raised to always have good grades, which resulted in me having a very competitive nature. I like to try to be the first one done with assignments or tests, I like to have the highest scores, and I like to be the most creative. I tend to not get a ton of sleep because I like to keep myself busy, so at times I will procrastinate here and there. I still get everything done in good time because I'm very time-oriented. I need to have everything done and organized. Procrastination is a killer for teens' goals. |
